This paper examines the rapid growth of China’s New Energy Vehicle (NEV) industry through the lens of industrial policies and ecosystem development. It highlights the role of government-driven strategies, including subsidies, market regulations, and infrastructure investments, in fostering technological innovation and market expansion. The study explores the interplay between policy frameworks and industrial ecosystems, emphasising the integration of stakeholders like manufacturers, suppliers, research institutions, and consumers. The paper underscores the importance of aligning industrial policies with ecosystem dynamics to sustain growth. It provides insights for both policymakers and stakeholders aiming for sustainable national competitiveness and industrial growth.
