A lot of company have been using FTA ( Fault Tree Analysis ), FMEA ( Failure Mode and Effect Analysis ) and QFD ( Quality Function Development ) for new product design process till now. In this article, I present our findings of more efficient new vehicle product development process by adapting STAMP/STPA method with human recognizing behavior analysis, which shows the complicated relationship between human and machine and gives feedback of hazard in an early development stage for four wheel drive power-train and effectiveness for R & D investment reduction by organization composition.
