Assemblers both Asian, and European and U.S. are changing their production processes, while being modified places where their vehicles are producing some of the emerging markets are being chosen as targets for the production of the units. That meant also auto parts companies have initiated changes in the location of their production processes. This paper analyzes the changes that are occurring and who is winning and who lost in the redesign of the new map of global vehicle production. The emergence of new leaders in the production capacity is changing the paradigms regarding the automotive industry.
