Résumé:

Summary of conclusion

We were right about the fact that the structuring/restructuring processes were linked and interacting
We were wrong about their dynamics
Mainly because of the key role of the Chinese market (a general stat?)
Also because of the counterintuitive recovery of the US market
Are these “unexpected” dynamics temporary and “unsustainable” in the wrong run?
Or should we pay more attention to the capacity of the existing automotive systems and markets to resist? To enroll new allies (shale gas policies and producers; provincial governments in China; new Members States in Europe; etc.)? To shape/influence/neutralize policies (the institutional entrepreneurship)?
What does this analysis and the results of the “Structuring/Restructuring” international programme imply in terms of innovation dynamics?
