5th International GERPISA Colloquium 12-13-14 June 1997
117 network members have enrolled for the colloquium
including 46 non-French researchers. Participation now also includes
researchers from Eastern European countries, India and China.
The International Steering Committee will be meeting on June 11
to discuss the organization and orientation of the programme.
The four work groups will decide on their work plan on an international
level on Friday 13. At the end of the day a session will be dedicated
to that to discuss it in a plenary session. Monsieur Charles-Henri
de Cossé-Brissac, Senator, President of the Senate Automobile
Group regrets that he cannot open the colloquium as was foreseen.
The snap general election called by the President of the Republic
has obliged him to modify his agenda and programme of activities
for the coming weeks, as is the case for all the elected representatives.
The final programme for the colloquium will be slightly
different to the one you have received. It will be distributed
to the participants with the Actes du Colloque in the morning
on June 12. At the opening of the colloquium we will have a reception
with coffee and croissants between 8.30 and 9.00 am. Nearby bistrots
will be glad to welcome us for coffee as we can not organize a
coffee break in the Palais.
The factory that we will be visiting on Monday June
16 is the Peugeot-Citroën assembly factory in Poissy which
is located in the Western suburbs of Paris. As usual we will travel
there by coach and will have lunch there.
